Description

Balvenie's Whiskey Single Malt Double Wood 12 Years is born from a selection of Whiskeys that originate from barley malt obtained from crops owned by Balvenie itself. The distillery in fact has about 1000 acres where it grows barley according to natural techniques. This distillate ages for 12 years with a double maturation, first in ex-Bourbon barrels and then in European Sherry barrels.

Tasting notes

The Whiskey Single Malt Double Wood 12 Years has a golden yellow color, with good concentration and intensity. On the nose there are sweet and rich hints, which move on a fruity texture, also enriched by clear references to cream and cinnamon. In the mouth it is full-bodied and enveloping, the sip is characterized by a good aromatic taste.
