Verdicchio di Matelica Mirum is a white wine from the La Monacesca estate, intense and full-bodied with a great aromatic richness . It is born in the innermost part of the Matelica Valley on mainly clayey soils.
Verdicchio di Matelica Mirum is presented in a straw yellow glass, the nose expresses toasted notes of almonds and hints of cedar, apples and bread crust . In the mouth it is powerful and balanced , a fresh white with good persistence . Excellent with non-aged cheeses, smoked appetizers and white meats with sauces.
The harvest takes place in the third decade of October, after the manual harvest the grapes are softly pressed without the use of sulfur dioxide . The wine then ferments in steel for about 20 days . Subsequently it rests on the fine lees and finally ages in steel for 18 months . Before being put on the market, it rests for a further 6 months in the bottle .
