Description
Dal Forno 's Valpolicella Superiore is a red wine that comes from vineyards located in the municipality of Lodoletta, in the province of Verona. It is produced with Corvina , Rondinella , Oseleta and Croatina grapes . A red that surprises right away, with excellent qualities that allow it to refine over time.
Tasting notes
Dal Forno's Valpolicella Superiore has an intense ruby red color, The nose opens with aromas of ripe red fruits that intersect with notes of walnuts and almonds . The taste is harmonious and velvety, with tannins are important, with notes of vanilla, blueberry, blackberry, cherry, chocolate and sweet spices . On the finish it closes delicately with notes of fruit in alcohol . Perfect to accompany meat and game ragout, and ideal in combination with roasts, stewed meats and aged cheeses.
Processing
The grapes are harvested only by hand between mid-September and the end of October, then they are left to rest for 45 days in open rooms. Then the selection and pressing of the grapes takes place. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature for 15 days. Subsequently the wine is aged in barrique for 36 months and for a further 24 months in the bottle.
