Description
Turriga di Argiolas is a broad and complex Sardinian red wine produced with native grapes of Cannonau and Carignano. A symbolic wine of Sardinian viticulture, ready to drink immediately but surprising even after a few years.
Tasting notes
In the glass, Turriga di Argiolas has a full and concentrated ruby red color. The nose releases notes of umus, plum, blackberry, tobacco, leather and balsamic notes. In the mouth the taste is dry and warm, a fleshy wine with a great structure and persistence.
Processing
Turriga di Argiolas is vinified in steel and subsequently left to mature for almost two years in small French oak barrels.
The cellar
A story that was born in the early 1900s and generation after generation handed down the family tradition carrying on the passion for the vineyards and for the wine, giving life to a wide and complete production line, capable of making the most of the territory and its more typical varieties. Unique wines, which are characterized by intensity, balance and elegance. The Argiolas company is divided into 5 estates
which produce wines of superior quality, and strongly faithful to the terroir.
