Antinori 's Tignanello 2018 is a red wine produced in the homonymous Tuscan estate in the heart of Chianti Classico. Of great elegance and consistency , Tignanello is produced with Sangiovese, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. This wine is produced only in the best years.

    Tasting notes

Antinori's Tignanello 2018 is presented in a ruby-colored glass with violet reflections. It has a complex bouquet of wild berries, with notes of vanilla, cocoa and leather, given by the wood. On the palate it is enveloping, with soft tannins, mineral and balanced with a long persistence. This red is ideal to accompany game dishes, but also aged cheeses and grilled meats.

After a careful selection of the grapes, alcoholic fermentation begins and then maceration in steel. After racking, the malolactic fermentation continues in barrique. Finally, the wine ages for at least 12 months in both new and second passage French and Hungarian oak barriques.

    The Cellar

The Antinori family has been dedicated to wine production for more than six hundred years: from 1385, when Giovanni di Piero Antinori became part of the Florentine Art of the Vinattieri. Through 26 generations, the Antinori family has always managed this business directly, making innovative and sometimes courageous choices , and always maintaining the respect for traditions and the territory unchanged. A path made of tradition, passion and intuition: the Antinori marquises have established themselves as one of the main Italian wine producers with their labels that have always been a symbol of luxury and nobility.
