Description
Savigny Les Beaune 1er Cru Les Marconnets by Domaine De La Vougeraie is a red wine produced in France in the Burgundy region from Pinot Noir grapes. Here the vines grow on sandy and pebbly soils, rich in iron, ideal for the production of Pinot Noir grapes.
Processing
Following the harvest that takes place between 19 and 20 September 2016 (Fruit Day). Then the grapes undergo a sorting both in the vineyard and in the cellar. The pre-fermentation maceration takes place cold for 5 days. Subsequently Savigny Les Beaune Les Marconnets ferments for 23 days with one fulling per day until mid-fermentation, then a light pumping over per day until the end of fermentation. Finally the wine ages for 14 months in cask.
