    Description

Terlan's Sauvignon Quarz is a white wine produced with Sauvignon grapes. A rich and complex white of great thickness that goes perfectly with different dishes such as oysters, salmon tartar, crudité of crustaceans, steamed lobsters, roast lamb, aged goat cheese.

    Tasting notes

In the glass, Terlan's Sauvignon Quarz has a sparkling yellow color with greenish reflections. The nose releases exotic aromas with notes of fruits such as mango, papaya and red grapefruit . These are combined with herbal notes such as lemongrass, lemon balm, mint and green tea . There is no lack of mineral veins of flint . In the mouth the fruity aromas and mineral notes of Terlan's Sauvignon Quarz blend and give a full flavor that evolves to leave a strong and persistent aftertaste.

    Processing

During the harvest the grapes are carefully selected, then ferment slowly at a controlled temperature in steel. Finally, Terlan's Sauvignon Quarz ages for nine months both in large wooden barrels and in stainless steel barrels.

    The cellar

The Terlan winery was founded in 1893, and is one of the most avant-garde cooperatives in Italy in all of South Tyrol. The wines of Terlan are able to put the public and the critics in agreement, in a nutshell they are reference wines.
