The Sauvignon Les Pichiaux 2018 by Noella Moratin is a French white wine born in the Loire Valley, from organically grown vineyards on soils rich in siliceous clay.

Sauvignon Les Pichiaux is a perfect wine to drink immediately but evolves well if kept to rest for 4-5 years.

    Tasting notes

In the glass, the Sauvignon Les Pichiaux by Noella Morantin has a golden yellow color, the nose is rich with intense hints of exotic fruit and citrus enriched by floral sensations. In the mouth it has a good freshness , a white with a dry and very citrusy taste. Ideal to try with sea urchins, it goes very well with fish dishes.

After the harvest, the grapes are softly pressed and then statically decanted for one night. After that the spontaneous fermentation takes place half in fiberglass tanks and half in used oak barrels. Finally, Noella Morantin's Sauvignon Les Pichiaux refines in the same containers for 9 months.

    The cellar

Noella Morantin's goal is to produce wines that are as natural as possible. Thanks to his passion and great competence he was able to achieve prestigious results. Its wines have also obtained the qualification of Triple "A" Biodynamic wines.
