    Description

    Ron Anejo Carúpano Reserva Especial 6 is a rum produced in Venezuela in the Macarapana Valley area starting from local Molasses.

    Tasting notes

    At sight it has an amber color with luminous reflections, while on the nose it expresses aromas of caramelized honey sugar that are combined with spicy notes of wood . Followed by hints of orange peel , vanilla and cinnamon with delicate notes of anise . In the mouth it is soft and clean with crunchy flavors of spices and sandalwood that blend with light flavors of caramel and honey . In addition, the taste of orange peel makes it slightly spicy , it closes on a light and clean finish .

    Processing

    The distillation of Carúpano Ron Anejo Reserva Especial 6 takes place in column stills. A Rum that comes from a blend of Ron aged from 2 to 6 years in American white oak barrels .

    The distillery

    The Carúpano Distillery dates back to 1762 when what is now called Añejo Rum was produced for the first time in Venezuela. Today this Ron follows the Venezuelan disciplinary, falling within the DO C. The microclimate of the area, the very pure water used and the 250 years of experience in blending make this distillate extraordinary.
