Description
The Giustino B Magnum from the Ruggeri winery is a Prosecco with 100% Glera grapes and is recognized as one of the best expressions of Prosecco . It was in fact defined by La Guida del Gambero Rosso as the " reference Prosecco ". The name Giustino B was chosen for this prosecco in honor of the founder of the Ruggeri Giustino Bisol winery.
Tasting notes
In the glass, Ruggeri's Giustino B Magnum has a straw yellow color with a fine and persistent froth. Its flavor is fruity with flavors of yellow apple , peach and acacia flowers enriched with notes of pink grapefruit . It is also harmonious and elegant with good persistence . Ideal to serve during an aperitif as an accompaniment to savory snacks or pastries, it also goes very well with delicate and fish-based dishes.
Processing
After a careful selection, the grapes are harvested in September, the vinification of Giustino B by Ruggeri takes place in white , or in the absence of skins. In the spring after the harvest, the second fermentation takes place through slow refermentation in closed containers. The wine then rests on the lees for about 3 months before being bottled.
The cellar
The Ruggeri winery is one of the most important in Valdobbiadene and a great reference point in the Prosecco panorama . Founded in 1950 by Giustino Bisol, the company is now led by Paolo Bisol and his sons. Ruggeri produces a large quantity of bottles through the use of the most modern technologies in order to always guarantee quality and elegance . The crops follow principles that guarantee maximum respect for the environment and the ecosystem, allowing the grapes to best express their organoleptic characteristics.
