Description
The Pinot Nero Riserva Maglen from the Tramin winery is a red wine produced from 100% Pinot Nero vines, which grow on clayey-sandy soils.
Tasting Notes
In the glass, Tramin's Maglen has an intense ruby red color tending to garnet. Al nasco emanates complex aromas with notes of dried flowers, berries and cherries that combine with notes of earth and spices. The taste is warm and elegant with a fruity sip enriched with spicy and floral aromas. Finally this red has a good persistence and an elegant and velvety tannin. This elegant and full-bodied red is a wine for the whole meal, ideal to combine with land dishes but also excellent in accompaniment with cheeses.
Processing
After the manual harvest, which takes place in mid-October, fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature in oak vats. Subsequently during the aging, the wine ages in barrique for 11 months and finally a few weeks in large barrels. Before being put on the market, the Maglen from the Tramin winery rests in the bottle for 6 months.
