Pinot Bianco Cavezzo di Livon is a white wine produced from 100% Pinot Bianco grapes. The vines are grown on marl and clay soils and grow in vineyards located in the municipality of Dolegna del Collio, in Friuli.

    Tasting notes

In the glass Pinot Bianco Cavezzo di Livon has a straw yellow color. On the nose the aromatic bouquet is delicate and intense and has hints of wildflowers, cherry, apricot and apple. In the mouth the flavor is dry and full-bodied and has an excellent persistence. Ideal to be enjoyed during a lunch in combination with risotto, vegetable soups or with fish and egg dishes.

The harvest is done manually, after a careful selection, the grapes are harvested in wooden boxes, then they are cold macerated in a horizontal press for 8 hours. The must is then cleaned and the wine ferments in steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Finally, the product obtained is left to mature in the same containers for 5 months. After bottling Pinot Bianco Cavezzo di Livon refines before being put on the market.

    The cellar

The Livon company was born in 1964 from the passion and love of Dorino Livon for its territory. Today Livon is led by the third generation of the family with two separate cellars, one for the vinification of red grapes and the other for white ones. Recently the winery has become a set of several companies that collaborate to produce high quality wines always keeping in mind the love for the Friulian territory.
