The Negroamaro Rosato of the Podere don Cataldo estate is a rosé wine produced by the Rocca farm in the heart of Salento, from 100% Negroamaro grapes. Here the vineyards rest on clayey-limestone soils. A rosé with an aging potential of 2 years from harvest.
The Negroamaro Rosato is presented in a coral pink glass, the nose releases intense fruity aromas with notes of raspberry , currant , strawberry and cherries . The taste is soft and delicate , on the palate it is refreshed and very persistent . Perfect to taste during an aperitif as an accompaniment to seafood, tuna carpaccio or sushi. It also goes very well with fresh cheeses, grilled vegetables and delicate first courses of Mediterranean cuisine.
For the production of this rosé the grapes are harvested at the beginning of September, then the Negroamaro Rosato is aged in stainless steel .
