Description
The Moscato Giallo di Manincor is an organic white wine produced in South Tyrol from vines grown in the locality of Mazzon di Caldaro, dry and very aromatic this white is produced from 100% Moscato Giallo grapes.
Tasting notes
In the glass, Moscato Giallo di Manincor has a brilliant straw yellow color. The nose releases delicate aromas of nutmeg, cedar and grapefruit. On the palate it is pleasant with intense and fruity flavors and a persistent aroma. This white is ideal to accompany aperitifs, it goes very well with Asian cuisine and with savory hard cheeses.
Processing
After harvesting, the bunches are de-stemmed and left to macerate for 12 hours in the press. Subsequently the Moscato Giallo ferments in wooden barrels and steel tanks partially spontaneously. Finally the wine ages for 5 months on the lees in order to enhance the aroma and taste of this white.
The cellar
Manincor is a production reality that was born over 400 years ago in Calandro, one of the most fascinating areas of Trentino. The winery still produces pure and genuine wines respecting the natural cycles of the vine following the principles of organic and biodynamic agriculture. As in the vineyard, human interventions are also limited in the cellar, fermentations take place spontaneously, vinifications take place separately and refinements in oak wood from the surrounding woods. Elegance and refinement is what distinguishes the Manincor labels, a continuous research that gives life to wines with a very high natural quality.
