    Tasting Notes

The Marsala Riserva Storica 1995 by Vito Curatolo has a bright color with amber reflections. Its complex aromas of apricot, dates and spices combine with the taste of caramel and bitter almonds. On the palate it is full and enveloping and with a very persistent finish. It is ideal to be served fresh with cheeses, pies and almond desserts.

After the harvest towards the end of September, we proceed with the destemming and pressing with rollers. Subsequently, maceration and fermentation take place in stainless steel at 20-25 ° C for about 7 days. Finally, the marsala ages in Slavonian oak barrels, French and American barriques and tonneaux.
