Krug's Champagne Grande Cuvée 170ème is born from the assembly of over 120 base wines, thus creating a cuvée of exceptional finesse. It is produced with Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Meunier grapes that grow in the best terroirs of the Champagne region.
In the glass it has a light golden color crossed by a fine and persistent bubble. The nose releases notes of flowers and citrus fruits enriched with hints of marzipan and gingerbread. To these are added sensations of hazelnut, nougat, almonds and sweet notes of honey. A fresh champagne in the mouth, excellent to accompany an aperitif or as an accompaniment to grilled oysters and prawns. Finally, it goes well with desserts such as cheesecakes.
Krug Champagne comes from a blend of over 120 base wines produced in the best vintages. After the blending of these wines, the Krug referments in the bottle and finally refines on the lees for at least 6 years.
