The Greco di Tufo Devon by Antonio Caggiano is a white wine produced with 100% Greco di Tufo grapes, one of the most historic vines of the Avellino area.

    Tasting notes

In the glass, Il Greco di Tufo di Caggiano has a brilliant straw yellow color. The nose has hints of peach blossom and almond blossom combined with aromas of exotic fruit. The taste is rich and full with a good persistence. Excellent with pizza Margherita, but also goes very well with all fish or white meat preparations.

After the manual harvest which takes place at the end of October, the grapes are pressed and the must obtained is fermented at low temperatures in steel tanks. Finally, the wine ages for 3 months in the bottle before being put on the market.

    The Cellar

Giving voice to the history and tradition of Taurasi, with this aim Antonio Caggiano founded Le Cantine Antonio Caggiano in the early 90's, after having been a photographer around the world for years. Even today the company produces wines of the highest quality and has also established itself as an interpreter of Irpinia wines. The grapes are grown in full respect of nature and the ecosystem, always keeping in mind the goal, which is always to enhance and enhance what the territory offers. A real museum that Caggiano has decided to create inside its cellars, in fact, in addition to barrels, bottles and vats, there are tools and utensils typical of the winemaker. On the walls are also hung works of art, some even made by Antonio himself.
