The Selida from the Tramin winery is a white wine made from 100% Gewürztraminer grapes that are born on the calcareous clayey and gravelly soils of Alto Adige. The name Selida is defined as a small farm or small agricultural reality, in fact this white wine is a tribute to the millenary culture of small agricultural owners which, even today, represents one of the strengths of Cantina Tramin.
In the glass, the Selida from the Tramin winery has a straw yellow color with golden reflections. The nose offers aromas reminiscent of floral notes of rose petals, lily, spicy white flowers, dried herbs that combine with exotic notes of fruit such as mango and passion fruit. The taste is deep and spicy with an intense aroma and a long persistence. Ideal to combine with fish-based appetizers, aged cheeses or oriental cuisine.
After the manual harvest, the grapes are pressed and left to macerate briefly in the must. They are then pressed and fermented in small steel containers at a controlled temperature. The refinement and maturation of Selida di Tramin takes place in small steel containers for a period of at least 6 months.
