The Nussbaumer of the Tramin winery is an aromatic, intense and structured white wine, coming from 100% gewürztraminer vines.

    Tasting Notes

This white is presented in the glass with a deep straw yellow color with golden reflections. The nose presents a series of aromas that come together: the floral notes of rose petals, spicy white flowers such as lily, ylang ylang, tiare; exotic notes of ripe yellow fruit, melon, mango, passion fruit, lemon peel; aromatic spices such as cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, ginger, saffron. On the palate, Tramin's Nussbaumer is full-bodied, spicy with a marked minerality that is accentuated with aging.

After the harvest, which takes place between the end of September and the end of October, the grapes are pressed and left to macerate for a short period in the must. Subsequently the soft pressing takes place and after which the wine ferments at a controlled temperature in small steel containers with facing of the must by natural sedimentation. After bottling, the wine rests in the bottle for a minimum of 3 months.
