Yarden Gewurztraminer is a still white wine produced in Israel on the Golan Heights.

    Deguastative notes

On the nose, Yarden's Gewurztraminer releases hints of passion fruit that intersect with aromas of kiwi and floral and spicy notes. In the mouth the finish is complex and has a sweet aftertaste. Excellent as an aperitif or in combination with first courses or spicy fish.

Following the harvest, the grapes are pressed and the must ferments in stainless steel for a long period, in order to maintain the typical characteristics of the vine. After that, Yarden's Gewurztraminer ages in steel and finally in the bottle.

    The cellar

Yarden was born in 1938 and immediately distanced himself for its production of wines of great value. Located on the Golan Heights, in the small town of Katzrin, where the soils are volcanic and rich in basalt therefore ideal for cultivation. Yarden is one of the few wineries to produce kosher wines that is authorized by rabbis and therefore drinkable also by Orthodox Jews. Now a symbol of Israel, the winery continues to produce excellent wines that lend themselves very well to aging.
