Description

Sorì Tildin is a Piedmontese red wine from the Gaja winery, an elegant and precise Barbaresco. Gaja's Sorì Tildin belongs to the excellence of Italian enology. This wine comes from the grapes in purity of Nebbiolo.

Tasting Notes

Gaja's Sorì Tildin is presented in the glass with a ruby red color , tending to garnet. The nose is characterized by concentrated and enveloping sensations, which start with balsamic and spicy notes, and move towards fruity aromas. In the mouth it is full-bodied, full and round, with a fresh sip and finely integrated tannins. The finish ends with a good persistence.

Processing

The grapes are grown with great attention and respect, only the best bunches are selected. Once harvested and vinified, the grapes undergo a double refinement, first 12 months in barrique , and then another 12 months in large barrels. At the end of these two years of maturation, the wine is bottled and put on the market. It is ideal to combine with red meats, game and aged cheeses.

The Cellar

The Gaja winery was founded in 1859 in Barbaresco, in Piedmont, in the heart of the Langhe wine growing area. It immediately established itself as one of the symbolic wineries of the region. It was founded by Giovanni Gaja and subsequently passed under the control of his son Angelo. The latter immediately invested in the pursuit of the highest quality. Tradition and innovation have led Gaja to establish itself on the entire world scene with products capable of enhancing the wine quality of Piedmont and more generally of made in Italy in the world.
