Description
Furia di Calafuria from the Tomaresca dei Marchesi Antinori estate is a still rosé wine produced in Salento with Negroamaro , Syrah and Cabernet Franc grapes . The representations on the glass represent the strength of the waves of the sea and the fury of the flames.
Tasting notes
With a pink peach blossom color, Tomaresca's Furia di Calafuria emanates fruity notes of grapefruit , pomegranate and peach on the nose that combine with floral hints of wisteria . In the mouth it is soft and fresh with a delicate flavor . Ideal to combine with fish dishes, white meats and focaccia.
Processing
After the manual harvest, the grapes are de-stemmed and softly pressed . Subsequently, the must obtained is transferred to stainless steel where the alcoholic fermentation takes place . Finally, the wine refines in contact with its own yeasts, after which it is bottled and placed on the market.
The cellar
Tomaresca is the Apulian estate of the Marchesi Antinori and has been producing wines since 1998 following in part the rules of organic agriculture and in part those of conventional agriculture, but always with the utmost respect for the environment, nature and ecosystem. Simply exceptional and quality wines able to tell the essence of the Apulian lands. Most of the vineyards are cultivated with the varieties of grapes typical of the area. Tormaresca owns two estates: Tenuta Bocca di Lupo, in the heart of the Castel del Monte DOC and Masseria Maime, in one of the most beautiful areas of the upper Salento.
