Description
Sansevé Satèn di MonteRossa is a soft and enveloping Franciacorta sparkling wine produced with Chardonnay grapes of which 20% reserve . The term Sansevé derives from the ancient Gaelic and means health, this name was chosen for the personality of the sparkling wine that makes it and indicated for convivial moments.
Tasting notes
In the glass, the Satèn di MonteRossa has a straw yellow color crossed by a fine and persistent bubble and a soft froth . On the nose, the floral and fruity aromas are embellished on the finish by notes of bread crust . The taste is elegant and refined and ends with a long persistence. Ideal for an aperitif and dinner, perhaps in combination with fish appetizers, excellent with sushi.
Processing
After the harvest the grapes are softly pressed, subsequently each cru is vinified in purity. Then the fermentation takes place , 85% in steel and the remainder in oak barrels . Finally Il Satèn di MonteRossa rests in the bottle for 2 years before being put on the market.
