Description
The Franciacorta Cuvée Prestige 44th edition in box from the Ca 'del Bosco winery is a sparkling wine of reference in the world of bubbles. This edition pays homage to the history of the winery and which contains all the essence of the different terroirs of Franciacorta . This sparkling wine comes from a blend of Chardonnay , Pinot Bianco and Pinot Nero grapes that come from 139 different vineyards. The vines have an average age between 19 and 29 years and grow on a clayey and calcareous soil.
Tasting notes
The Cuvée Prestige boxed by Ca 'del Bosco is presented in the glass with a bright straw yellow color , with a fine and persistent perlage . The nose has hints of citrus , apple , white peach and exotic fruit , with hints of pastry , dried fruit and mineral trails . The taste has a well-dosed freshness , the drink is light and inviting and closes on a fruity finish . Ideal to combine with fresh fish appetizers , carpaccio and sushi but it goes very well with a seafood risotto or with zucchini and prawns .
Processing
After a careful selection, the grapes are hand-picked , classified and cooled. The clusters are washed through soaking tanks and drying tunnels. After pressing , the musts obtained ferment separately in temperature-controlled steel tanks where they remain for 7 months. Subsequently the wines are blended and the cuvèe obtained is aged on the lees for at least 2 years . The dégorgement takes place in the absence of oxygen , following a system designed and patented by Ca 'del Bosco, which avoids oxidative shocks and the addition of sulphites. Finally the wine is bottled and each bottle is uniquely marked.
The Cellar
A pillar of the national wine scene and a reference of Franciacorta for the production of high-level sparkling wines . Ca 'del Bosco is a production reality that was born in the mid-60s, when Annamaria Clementi Zanella bought a small house with the same name in the municipality of Erbusco, with woods and vineyards.Today the company is a more than consolidated reality, which produces a wide range of labels with deep and juicy aromas and measured and skilful dosages.
