Description
The Fernet of the Gancia distillery is a digestive bitter handcrafted and composed of herbs and spices including cinchona , gentian , saffron , mint and licorice . Ideal to be enjoyed neat or with ice or as a corrective to coffee. It is also used as a base ingredient for innovative cocktails.
Tasting notes
Fernet Gancia has an intense color with amber reflections and golden hues. The nose gives off intense and aromatic aromas while bitter notes and a pleasantly spicy aftertaste stand out in the mouth.
Processing
All parts of the medicinal plants are used for the production of Fernet Gancia. These parts are infused in alcohol, thus obtaining a liqueur that maintains the digestive properties of the herbs.
The cellar
Passion, tradition, innovation and a continuous search for quality, these are the cornerstones of the Gancia company. In 1865 Carlo Gancia created a new type of Champagne which he baptized Italian Spumante, thus becoming the author of the classic Italian method still in use today with the same rules. The company has always been the spokesperson of Italian style in the world, is able to produce unique products that tell their story.
