Description
Prunotto 's Dolcetto d'Alba is a red wine produced with grapes from the vineyard of the same name in the province of Cuneo. Here the grapes grow on a particular terroir, characterized by sandy and clayey soils, which give these grapes a great complexity, freshness and finesse.
Tasting notes
In the glass, Prunotto's Dolcetto d'Alba shows a ruby red color with purple reflections. The nose is vinous with fresh hints of violet and cherry . In the mouth it is full and balanced with a finish of bitter almonds. Ideal to taste during a dinner with friends in combination with first and second courses of carme, also excellent with cheeses and cold cuts.
Processing
Following the harvest, the grapes are taken to the cellar, de-stemmed and crushed. Subsequently, fermentation takes place for 6 days . Finally, after 6 months of aging , Prunotto's Dolcetto d'Alba is bottled and placed on the market.
