Chardonnay Glarea owes its name to the Rhaeto-Romance and means gravel, referring to the particular conformation of the soil from which this wine is born. A very versatile wine to try with fish dishes, white meats and pizza.
Straw yellow in color, this Tramin chardonnay has a straw yellow color with greenish reflections in the glass. On the nose it releases aromas of ripe fruit such as banana, apricot and pineapple. In the mouth the Glarea is fresh and juicy, characterized by a very strong minerality. It closes with a long harmonic persistence.
The grapes for the production of Tramin's Chardonnay Glarea are hand-picked and immediately subjected to soft pressing. Subsequently, the fermentation in wood takes place at a controlled temperature with partial malolactic fermentation. Finally the wine matures in barrique, tonneaux and cask.
