Description
Champagne Charpentier Tradition Brut is the company's symbolic Cuvée and is produced with pinot meunier, chardonnay and pinot noir grapes with 15% of the vin de réserve.
Tasting notes
In the glass, Champagne Charpentier has a light gold color with a subtle perlage. The nose gives off fresh and fragrant aromas with notes of candied citrus and toasted bread . In the mouth it is creamy, with an enveloping and soft sip, it is also characterized by a savory and fresh drink . Ideal to combine with fish appetizers or cured meats.
Processing
During the vinification this champagne carries out a double fermentation , the first takes place in steel , here the malolactic fermentation also takes place and subsequently the wines of two vintages are assembled. Subsequently, the refermentation in the bottle takes place according to the Champenoise method and finally the wine ages from 18 to 24 months.
The cellar
The Charpentier maison was founded in 1855, and has been carrying on the family tradition for 8 generations. Today the Maison presents itself with advanced technologies and processes in avant-garde environments. The exceptional exposure of the vineyards has also allowed the implementation of a reasoned cultivation model and many plots have already been converted to organic for some time. The expression of the terroirs of belonging and a consistent and very accurate vinification do not leave the tasters indifferent.
