Tasting notes
This Rosé by Ruinart is characterized by a delicate garnet pink color, with slightly orange reflections. It also has a persistent perlage, the nose gives off fresh and delicate hints of raspberry, cherry and wild strawberry , but also floral aromas of rose . On the palate it is velvety, balanced and with a sweet effervescence . Ideal to be enjoyed during an aperitif as an accompaniment to raw ham of character or with seared salmon, also excellent with veal fillet or leg of lamb.
Processing
The grapes are harvested by hand and subsequently fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Finally the Champagne matures on the lees for 48 months. Pinot noir is vinified in red for 19%.
The cellar
The Maison Ruinart, founded in 1729 is the oldest of the reason and still produces Champagne able to best represent the excellence of the territory. One of the Maison's priorities is respect for the environment and the protection of biodiversity. An artisanal method is used for the production, and the wines are aged in chalk "caves". Synonymous with the best champagnes, Ruinart has vineyards located in various areas of the region, the strong point of the production is the Chardonnay which gives vivacity, freshness and purity to its labels.
