    Description

The Champagne Brut of the Maison Ruinart is a label made with grapes mainly Chardonnay and Pinot Nero and an addition of Pinot Meunier. It is an elegant and harmonious Champagne ideal to be tasted as an aperitif accompanied by oysters, scallops or with not too aged cheeses.

    Tasting notes

In the glass, Ruinart's Champagne Brut has a bright yellow color with golden reflections, crossed by a very persistent bubble . The nose expresses fresh and fruity hints of apricot and white pulp fruit such as pear and rennet apple, together with notes of hazelnuts and fresh almonds . On the finish it evolves into more marked notes of biscuit and brioche . In the mouth the taste is very strong with aromas of ripe fruit . Finally it closes with a long and fresh finish .

    Processing

The grapes are harvested by hand, then the Champagne Brut of Ruinart ferments in thermoregulated stainless steel vats. Finally the champagne is aged for 36 months on the lees.

    The cellar

The Maison Ruinart, founded in 1729 is the oldest of the reason and still produces Champagne able to best represent the excellence of the territory. One of the Maison's priorities is respect for the environment and the protection of biodiversity. An artisanal method is used for the production, and the wines are aged in chalk "caves". Synonymous with the best champagnes, Ruinart has vineyards located in various areas of the region, the strong point of the production is the Chardonnay which gives vivacity, freshness and purity to its labels.
