    Description

    The Braide Alte di Livon is the best known and most awarded wine of the winery. It's a white wine made from Chardonnay , Sauvignon , Picolit and Moscato Giallo grapes that grow in the prestigious Braide Alte vineyard, located in Ruttars, in the municipality of Dolegna del Collio. A ready-to-drink white wine, characterized by a longevity of 10-15 years.

    Tasting notes

    The Braide Alte di Livon is presented in the glass with an intense straw yellow color with golden reflections. The nose expresses intense aromas characterized by spicy notes . The taste is warm, in perfect balance with a savory and fresh trail . Ideal to accompany fish dishes but also white meats and soft cheeses.

    Processing

    After the harvest carried out manually, the grapes are cold macerated in a horizontal press for 8 hours. Subsequently the must is cleaned and then the fermentation takes place in Allier barriques . The product obtained from fermentation matures in the same containers for 8 months at a constant temperature. Finally the wine is assembled and bottled . Before being put on the market, the Braide Alte di Livon refines for a long period in the bottle .

    The cellar

    The Livon company was born in 1964 from the passion and love of Dorino Livon for its territory. Today Livon is led by the third generation of the family with two separate cellars one for the vinification of red grapes and the other for white ones. Recently the winery has become a set of several companies that collaborate to produce high quality wines always keeping in mind the love for the Friulian territory.
