Marcarini's Barolo Del Comune Di La Morra is a Piedmontese wine that is born with the idea of best representing the characteristics of the soils of the Tortonian area.

Tasting notes

The Barolo Del Comune Di La Morrai has a garnet red color with ruby reflections. The nose presents a rich fresh bouquet, elegant dominated by floral notes with purple and pink memories. It closes with a long and intense aromatic persistence.


For the production of this Barolo, the Marcarini company has decided to vinify together a part of the grapes from their historic vineyards all located in La Morra. The result is an elegant red that reaches the apex of its evolution in shorter periods. The must from the grapes ferments on the skins at a controlled temperature for at least 4 weeks. Later the Barolo From the Municipality of La Morra di Marcarini it ages 2 years. in steel and then 24 months in large 30 hl Slavonian oak barrels, before being mechanically filtered and refinement in the bottle for 6 months.

The cellar

The historic Marcarini winery is based in La Morra, in the Langhe, and dates back to the mid-19th century. Today in the sixth generation, the company produces wines by blending tradition and innovation, in search of the highest quality of the grapes.
