    Description

Elio Perrone's Barbera d'Asti Tasmorcan is a red wine produced from vineyards located near Isola d'Asti, in the hamlet of Mongovone in Piedmont. A wine that was created to tell the fruity and exuberant notes of Barbera. Elio Perrone's Barbera d'Asti Tasmorcan represents the producer's idea of this grape variety: free and expressive, synonymous with praise of nature and grapes, but also of pleasure and joie de vivre. An extraordinary Barbera in a bottle with a particular design. Ideal to taste immediately but also has qualities that allow it to evolve over time if stored correctly for at least 2-3 years.

    Tasting notes

The Barbera d'Asti Tasmorcan by Elio Perrone in the glass has an intense ruby red color, the nose envelops with mainly fruity aromas with a slight spiciness that refers to oriental notes. The taste is medium-bodied with a full and round sip, it is a fresh red with a nice intensity, ideal for aperitifs with cheeses and cured meats and perfect with first courses with imported condiments, it also goes very well with spicy meat main courses.

    Processing

The harvest takes place in the first week of October through manual harvesting of the grapes. The grapes are then pressed, after which the must ferments in steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Finally the wine matures in oak barrels for 4 months before being bottled.

    The Cellar

The perrone family has been carrying on the family tradition with passion and dedication since 1989, producing Moscato and barbera d'asti. Expressive and high-class wines produced with attention to every detail, each bottle expresses an original vision, the reinterpretation of a classic.
