    Description

The Bramito della Sala di Antinori is a white wine produced from Chardonnay grapes in the historic Castello della Sala estate in Umbria. The grapes grow on soils of fossil origin with clay infiltrations, this gives the wine minerality and elegance .

    Tasting notes

In the glass, the Bramito from the Antinori room has a straw yellow color. On the nose stand out the notes of white flowers followed by notes of citrus . In the mouth it is crunchy characterized by a great drinkability . It closes with a pleasantly savory finish given by the minerality of this white. Ideal to combine with fish appetizers and white meats, but it is also excellent as an accompaniment to fresh cheeses and savory pies.

    Processing

After the harvest, the grapes are taken to the cellar and subsequently de-stemmed and softly pressed . After that the must macerates with its own skins for 2-4 hours , then the clarification takes place in steel vats . The lots are divided partly in steel and partly in wood, fermentation takes place here but only the wood part faces malolactic fermentation . Finally, the Bramito della Sala di Antinori is assembled and bottled.

    The Cellar

The Antinori family has been dedicated to wine production for more than six hundred years: from 1385, when Giovanni di Piero Antinori became part of the Florentine Art of the Vinattieri. Through 26 generations, the Antinori family has always managed this business directly, making innovative and sometimes courageous choices, and always maintaining the respect for traditions and the territory unchanged. Today the company is managed by the Marquis Piero Antinori, with the support of the three daughters all personally involved in the business activities. A path made of tradition, passion and intuition: the Antinori Marquises have established themselves as one of the main Italian wine producers.
